Olivia Swedberg, MME, MT-BC, NICU-MT is on the staff of the Florida State University as Coordinator of the Medical Music Therapy and the Arts in Medicine Program partnership between FSU and Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare.

Olivia received her bachelor’s degree in music therapy and her master’s degree in music education from the Florida State University. She completed her music therapy internship with Leon County Schools and previously worked for Healing Hearts Music Therapy in Tallahassee, Florida.

She is a Fellow of the National Institute for Infant and Child Medical Music Therapy. Her research has focused on the use of music to enhance development of children with special needs.
Miriam Hillmer, MME, MT-BC, NICU-MT is the Director of Clinical Training in Music Therapy at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare.

Miriam received her bachelor’s degree in music education from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and her master’s degree in music therapy and music education from the University of Kansas. She completed her music therapy internship at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare and previously worked as the Coordinator of the National Institute for Infant and Child Medical Music Therapy.

She is a Fellow of the National Institute for Infant and Child Medical Music Therapy. Her research has focused on medical personnel’s attitudes and perceptions of music therapy.
